Doki Doki Literature Club: It Makes Your Heart Go Doki Doki (SPOILER) [DISTURBING CONTENT WARNING]

***MORE WARNING : If you decided wanting to play the game, don't read ahead. This game is best played blind.

This is a TOTALLY normal visual novel dating sim game (with above warning) in a peaceful literature club. Nothing more. Haha. Until one of the girl hang herself up 'cause of her severe depression.

This isn't a joke, yet become a famous internet meme.

To make things worse, the cheerful music became slower and distorted. Creepy.

In a normal way... That just means you didn't do the route for true end correctly and should just restart the game.. Or even load the game from your last point.

The next thing, that liitle warning you saw in the beginning of the game flashed in your mind and it was all about this. You're faced to the fact you can't just restart on the beginning or at some point to save that person.. And that's what happened.

Your save data and even the game itself got corrupted somehow. You are forced to restart the whole game... But something was.. Off. That childhood friend, Sayori, can nowhere to be seen and some kinda glitch distorted the text speech and even the character. You started the game new, as if Sayori never existed.. And everything about her got distorted or replaced... by... Monika.

Glitch by glitch terrorized you, like it's not pointed to the character you played, but rather, you, the player who played this game. For example, you're forced to choose a certain someone when doing stuff, one of the girl, Yuri, became suicidal and nuts because of her feeling to you then ended up stabbing herself up when she confessed to you, whatever your reply is..

One of the scene that scars me.

Now, another girl suicide and the text keep on showing gibberish stuff as if that girl is saying her dead wish, you think it's the best idea to load the game and try to choose something different to avoid that disturbing event, right? If only this is a TOTALLY normal visual novel... (Did I said totally above?)

As if haunting you, the real player, the game glitched and whenever you try to load or restart to correct your mistake, the game will keep prompting you to that poor girl's dead cold body, showing unreadable programming code as the text speeches.

What can you do then in that condition? why, stop playing, uninstall the game... OR continue the game... The END screen hasn't appeared yet. But as you keep clicking, the text, or even she, just keep blubbering distorted creepy chant.. Over and over and over and over.. And then you noticed that, the SKIP button is glowing in enlightenment and tempted to click it as you're getting tired to click the text.

The text went in fast forward mode, sure, fine and dandy. Until you realized the scenery is getting darker, as if time goes by and went to night and morning for three days and two night.

Yeah, the game keeps on playing and you stayed there for the whole weekend, staring at your "supposed to be girlfriend" or "just friend cause you're scared of her" dead body's.

Eventually, the rest of the two girl's appeared. One puked away and Monika, seems to know about something... And you're forced to restart the game with distorted graphic and music... And just Monika left in front of you.

Don't worry she said. She's not going anywhere she said.

I swear many of you shocked if you used your real name as your PC name.

WHY YES! SHE IS THAT HIGHER EVIL! THE BEING THAT ERASED THOSE GIRL'S EXISTANT, THE REASON ON THOSE GLITCHES AND SCREWED YOUR GAME, THE SENTIENT BEING THAT REALIZED ABOUT YOU, THE ONE IN FRONT OF THE SCREEN!

DO YOU THINK THIS IS A MOTHERFUCKING GAME?!

This is just a normal visual Novel dating sim but if you get the bad end, this game turned into horror apps.. To remind you that, this one girl, Monika, realized they're just a character in a game, got the power to alter your game, and trying to crawl under your skin, your real self skin.

Your reply?

So.. What now? This girl is obsessed towards you, the player, you and keeps on appearing talking to you, confessing to you, become your girlfriend, spouting some goddamn-make-sense opinion to you. What already went wrong, can get more screwed up of course. All you need to do is hearing her opinion, and do the not-so-in-game-instruction.

Maybe, she'll be a perfect girlfriend... If you're forever alone.

Dudette.. This isn't matrix sheet

Forever alone be like: Hey guys, I brought my girlfriend here! *shows flashdisk* This is Monika, my girlfriend. Hehe.

Not normal people: Willingly love her and store her character data inside your USB flash drive.

Normal people: Delete her character data in your game directory.

Too late young lady, too late.

When you delete her character, the game glitches. She'll get erased... Even though she said she loves you, you betrayed her expectation.

Oh, because she loves you, she turned back everything to normal except Monika's existant around. HAH! You wish!

In the end, Monika won't allow you to be lovey dovey with Sayori and decided to screw the game by ending it, leaving you last note that this literature club only brings torture and pain. Render the game unplayable, or rather, ended.

That's the end of the game. The end of the bad ending. Really.. That's the charm of this horror game disguised as dating sim and that is why I don't bother to get the good ending. I may sounded evil, but the dead of Sayori was the thing that spiced up this game.

The ending, where everything erased.

Bonus:

Try to start a new fresh game, go to your game directory, then delete Sayori character. Hehehehehe...
