King Mango Thai, an Extreme Case of Social Phenomenon

This supposed to be a review on King Mango Thai's taste but I bet (almost) everyone already tried it and it tasted like..... Mango.
Then what makes it so different? What makes it for people to queue for so much time, just to taste a simple creamy mango juice?

In Indonesia, especially Jakarta, we got a social phenomenon term called "kekinian" or "nowadays" literally in English. Kekinian stuff, makes people, especially millenial, interested to do or try that stuff.. Wether it's food or some silly challenge from internet.
Of course, this isn't new for Indonesian. One example, Pablo cheesecake also felt that benefit from "kekinian" phenomenon back then... Yeah.. Back then, we used to queue for Pablo cheesecake, for, like, 1 hour.

I'm no market analyst.. But from a simple observation, I could deduce 1 interesting thing for "kekinian" stuff and that, maybe, could help your business scheme.

Pile up your queue. If there is sugar, ants will gather for it.

Yeah this may sounds so evil, to make people queue, but that is the truth I felt when I manage to stand in front of the cashier/server. The process of making the drink itself takes some time, it could make you wait from 5 - 10 minutes for just one drink. Imagine if you ordered five drinks for your friends.. Yup. The queue will become long line of snake. Large crowd makes people interested and wondered "whoa... So many queue.. It must be sought by many for its quality". They just didn't know it was the service that slow and when they finally, get their drink after waiting for god knows how long, it will became a false satisfaction for them, saying they got some products, worth to wait that everyone curious of. Something hard to get, will surely be posted in social media by people as, some kind of achievement. The words got spread, and even more crowd will hunt for it. Man.. Psychology does play its part on making stuff popular.

(Oh, and  that's what I experienced when queueing Pablo cheesecake.. They demand freshness and 100% from the oven, so it takes quite some time to bake the cake, moreover, if people buying it in large amount.)

Of course, to make your business got queued by many people, you must afford some quality on your product so people will be tempted to try. Pablo was an authentic Japanese cheesecake and people are eager to try that delication, so King Mango Thai bring forward their, not so rare, seasonal and pricy type of Mango.. The Thai Mango the most delicious type of Mango, or so they said.

But in the end, every product got their declining point after some popularity, due to rival product or people boredom. King Mango Thai lacks variation, only one type of juice. So now, no more long queue.. And all depends on their creativeness and promotion.

End note: If you like Mango, then you'll most likely King Mango Thai.
Isn't that obvious?
